Hornsea is a small seaside resort town at the eastern end of the Trans Pennine Trail.

Hornsea boasts a promenade with fish & chip shops, ice cream shops, and shops selling bucket & spade sets and other traditional seaside essentials.

At 467 acres, Hornsea mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire. A haven for Greylag and Canada geese, tufted ducks and reed warblers. Rowing boats can be hired for a day on the water.
